An all-new, original Marvel hero has joined the fray in Netmarble's mobile-action RPG
MARVEL Future Fight. With today's update, Crescent is now playable. She arrives alongside fan-favorite Marvel characters Morgan Le Fay and White Fox, which is fitting because Crescent's background story is actually intertwined with the two.
"Crescent is a 10-year old girl named Dan Bi who grew up in Korea, raised by her single father, an antiques dealer who was forced to acquire powerful artifacts for the ancient sorceress Morgan Le Fay," her background story reads. She's accompanied by a "half-moon" bear spirit named Io, who bonded with her to become her protector after Dan Bi touched a mystical bear mask artifact. The powerful duo now uses
"a combination of taekwondo, magical power absorption, super strength, and other abilities in battle, as they search for Crescent’s missing father."
A celebratory launch trailer was released today showcasing Crescent and Io's abilities in action. We also get to see the villainous sorceress Morgan Le Fay as well as Korean super-agent White Fox in combat.
Thanks to
a successful Crescent pre-registration event, everyone who participated will receive a slew of bonus items, including enough Biometrics to actually unlock Crescent in the game. Crescent is actually the third original female fighter introduced to fans through
MARVEL Future Fight, joining Sharon Rogers and Luna Snow. The rest of today's patch notes for
MARVEL Future Fight can be found
