"War Is Coming" In Epic First Footage From WARCRAFT

Ahead of this Friday's full-length teaser trailer debut, 15 seconds of the first footage from Duncan Jones' big-screen adaptation of the Warcraft video game series has just been officially released online.

Following yesterday's teaser poster and the announcement that the first trailer will be released this Friday, Duncan Jones' Warcraft adaptation has revealed its first visuals on Twitter. Featuring tons of action-packed, creature-filled footage in matter of 15 seconds, the teaser can be seen below!



Legendary’s Warcraft is a 3D epic adventure of world-colliding conflict based upon Blizzard Entertainment’s globally-renowned universe. Directed by Duncan Jones (Moon, Source Code) and written by Charles Leavitt and Duncan Jones, the film is a Legendary Pictures, Blizzard Entertainment and Atlas Entertainment production. The producers are Charles Roven, Thomas Tull, Jon Jashni, Alex Gartner and Stuart Fenegan. Jillian Share, Brent O’Connor, Michael Morhaime and Paul Sams serve as executive producers. Rob Pardo, Chris Metzen, Nick Carpenter and Rebecca Steel Roven co-produce. The film will be released Friday, June 10, 2016.

I'm a huge fan of genre movies but I have no interest in this at the moment.

Maybe I don't know enough about Warcraft to get excited. Maybe it's because it's based off a computer game which kind of raises a red flag.

Looks like an animated film... Is it so hard to mesh practical and computer generated effects to make things look REAL?

I don't know a thing about Warcraft, but I actually like the fact that the film is showing a bright and colorful fantasy world. Gives it some energy.

I'm guessing the budget on this wasn't superhero huge, so I can forgive the CGI, as long as it is a good movie. I like fantasy realm type things, so this is right up my alley. Now if only someone would turn The Witcher into a movie...
