VIDEO GAMES: THE TERMINATOR, JOKER And SPAWN Announced As Upcoming MORTAL KOMBAT 11 DLC Characters

Earthrealm just got a whole lot more dangerous as Mortal Kombat 11 developer NetherRealm announced the remaining four fighters  arriving in the Kombat Pack. Joining Shang Tsung and Nightwolf as DLC characters in the fighting game are the Terminator, Joker, Spawn, and Sindel.

Sindel, of course, is an original Mortal Kombat character, appearing in 1995's MK3. The three remaining additions, however, are making cameo appearances and look to wreak havoc in their own way. They also each happen to have a movie either coming soon or in production.

The Terminator, whose likeness is borrowed from Arnold Schwarzenegger, will appear as the older version we're about to see on the big screen when Terminator: Dark Fate hits theaters in November. He will arrive next in Mortal Kombat 11 on October 8.

He'll be followed by the supersonic screaming Sindel on Novmeber 26, and then the Joker on January 28. Like the Terminator, there's also the Joker movie coming out soon. It looks like the Mortal Kombat 11 version will be different from the one played by Joaquin Phoenix on the big screen. He'll also be modeled differently from the previous incarnation NetherRealm had created for the DC fighting game Injustice.

The final Kombat Pack character, coming on March 17, will be Spawn. Spawn was actually previously confirmed as a DLC character for Mortal Kombat 11, with Keith David, the original voice actor from Todd McFarlane's Spawn animated series, returning to voice him in the game. The popular comic book character also has a reboot movie in the works with Blumhouse Productions, but it seems to be stuck in limbo due to a financing holdup relating to the script. So while it may be a while before fans get to see the Hellspawn return to theaters, they'll at least get to play as him in Mortal Kombat 11 next year.

Mortal Kombat 11 is currently available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The optional Kombat Pack includes the two previously released fighters plus these four upcoming ones as well as exclusive Character Skins and gear.
