American Film Institute Names WONDER WOMAN One Of The Top 10 Movies Of 2017

The American Film Institute has announced their official selections for the AFI Awards which document the year's most outstanding achievements in film and television. Wonder Woman is part of the list!

Wonder Woman has had a truly unprecedented year that no other comic book movie has seen before in history. Not only did it top the summer box office in North America and receive universal acclaim from critics and audiences, but it has also generated buzz from several different award shows like the Academy Awards and more! Today the American Film Institute has announced the Top 10 best Movies of the year, and that list includes Wonder Woman! What makes this list especially even more impressive is that Wonder Woman is the only comic book movie to make the list, and this is the first time a film based on a comic book character has made the AFI Top 10 List since 2012 with Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises. For television, shows included on the list include fan favorites Stranger Things and Game of Thrones.
