DEBUNKED: Could Junkie XL Potentially Be A Candidate To Score The WONDER WOMAN Movie?

We're still a while away from Warner Bros. announcing who they've enlisted to score Wonder Woman, however, yesterday composer Junkie XL posted something that could potentially spell out his next project...

In case you haven't heard of Junkie XL yet, then now is really the time to start listening. He's slowly become one of Hollywood's most sought-after composers. He recently finished composing the scores to both Deadpool and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the latter of which he worked on alongside the acclaimed Hans Zimmer. In one of his recent posts on Facebook, the composer welcomed Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman to the ranks of strong female heroes such as Furiosa (Charlize Theron), Queen Gorgo (Lena Headey), and Beatrice (Shailene Woodley).

What do all these women have in common? They were all strong and powerful female leads in Mad Max: Fury Road, 300: Rise of an Empire, and Divergent, all of which are movies he composed. Now, this is pure speculation, but could this message mean that Junkie XL is a candidate to potentially score the Patty Jenkins-directed Wonder Woman? It'll be a while before we know anything for sure, but what do you think? Share your thoughts in the comments below.

UPDATE:  Junkie XL has deleted his Facebook post and took to Twitter to announce that he would not be scoring Wonder Woman.

Wonder Woman hits theaters June 23, 2017.
Wonder Woman stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, Säid Taghmaoui, David Thewlis, Elena Anaya, Ewen Bremner, and Lucy Davis. The film is directed by Patty Jenkins and written by Jason Fuchs.

Just like how Brian Tyler is Marvel's go-to guy, Junkie XL is most likely DC's.

@TheEpicJuicebox YES!! Seriously!! I've been thinking this for years!! A Team Stream type app where we can choose what films we want notifications for and will make commenting on mobile devices much easier.

I used to comment all the time on here, but now that I've started using my phone more and laptop less over the last couple years, I stopped commenting. Mostly due to the site not being too mobile friendly and this thing never saving my log in information.

Is this possible, @NateBest?

I know my comment will be off topic, but is there an option to switch back to the old site? Is there a desktop version I can use instead? I feel claustrophobic, because everything is right in your face now.

OR... it could be because Wonder Woman is in Dawn of Justice, which you literally just said he worked on.

That's not to say he isn't scoring Wonder Woman too, I just felt that should be pointed out.

WHERE ARE MY FRIENDS??!? OKAY! NOBODY MOVE! I HAD FRIENDS THE LAST TIME I VISITED! WHO TOOK 'EM??? I'M WARNING YOU!!!

I mean that I'll kill the ones who took my friends, not my friends themselves. That would be counter-productive. Seriously, why would you even think..................you know what? Never mind. Some people! Sheesh!

Oh, God no... that would make no sense at all.

Wonder Woman is a classical superheroine fighting a battle against a Greek god in the midst of World War I. Does ANY of that scream "electronic syth DJ" to you?

Mad Max, he was perfect for. Deadpool, he's perfect for. And Batman v. Superman... well, he at least makes SOME sense. But for the love of God, get someone like Alan Silvestri or Howard Shore to do the Wonder Woman score... not a guy named Junkie XL.
