For years, Warner Bros./DC Entertainment have been the butt of every comic book movie joke when it comes to lesser-known characters being adapted before Wonder Woman gets her own film. Well, with Gal Gadot set to play the Amazon Princess in Zack Snyder's Man of Steel sequel, the Israeli actress revealed recently that she signed a three-picture deal with the studio. Now according to sources of Variety, they confirm that, in addition to the forthcoming Batman/Superman movie, "Gadot will play the role in a Justice League movie and a Wonder Woman standalone film," earning $300,000 per film. However, when considering the 10-month delay of the first movie on her contract, and not to mention Justice League, it may be umpteen years before Gal Gadot gets to fly solo as Princess Diana. Nonetheless, this news sort of pinpoints how Warner Bros. plans to dish out their many DC characters - releasing two superhero team-up films before the standalone movies - which is basically in reverse of Disney/Marvel Studios' ongoing master plan. Starring Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, and Laurence Fishburne, Batman Vs. Superman was scheduled to shoot in Detroit in February. Directed by Zack Snyder from a story by David S. Goyer and screenplay by Chris Terrio, the sequel is set for release May 6, 2016!
