WONDER WOMAN 1984 Promo Art Reveals Another Fierce New Look At Kristen Wiig's Cheetah

Warner Bros. still hasn't released an official shot of Kristen Wiig's Cheetah, but promo art on some toy packaging reveals another new look at the deadly villain in Patty Jenkins's Wonder Woman 1984!

Wonder Woman 1984 could be pushed back to December if recent reports are to be believed, yet another sign that the studio has no intentions of sending the sequel straight to VOD platforms. That's sure to come as a blow to fans hungry for new content, but it's also not massively surprising.

However, there is some good news, because the closer we get to the film's original release date, the more fresh content we start seeing online.

It's true that there's still no new trailer, but some promo art on Hot Wheels toy packaging shows the deadly Cheetah (Kristen Wiig) in all her glory. Fans remain convinced that the meek and mild Dr. Barbara Minerva was going to be revealed in this form in a second trailer, but that hasn't been released, and a premiere date is unclear now Wonder Woman 1984 has been delayed.

This take on the classic comic book baddie is undeniably comic accurate, though we still don't know what balance of visual and practical effects director Patty Jenkins has decided on.

That's probably the best looking cheetah design I've seen. Patiently waiting on the actual reveal

I bet Cheetah can catch up to any car, just like Black Panther did it in Civil War until he caught up with Bucky's bike.

We still have to see it properly and in motion, but i love the design. I really cant understand why someone would bash it.

@TheJustinHammer - It really does. Still hoping the live action Cheetah doesn't look completely ridiculous.

@rebellion - Because this is CBM.com. Full of Disney worshippers who have to crap on anything DC.

@davidcub - in all fairness WB craps on most of DC lol but in all seriousness, Wonder Woman, Shazam, most of Auquaman have proved to be changing that for the better. I mean I prefer Marvel but love DC too and it is frustrating that they can get their difficult properties to turn out great but the movies that should weight themselves are slightly botched. = (

OT
I see no article about Stargirl, probably because you guys are waiting for the CW debut.
Gotta say tho, i really enjoyed that pilot, hella wholesome! :)
I really love these characters but probably half as much as Geoff, especially when it comes to Courtney.
The VFX were neat, don't think they have a huge budget but it did the job.
The girl that plays Stargirl is perfect!

OT but Ken "Eddie Haskel" Osmond passed away. He was an editor on Captain America TFA and Wicker Man...

I think I had that Hotwheels car back when I was a kid... no tail and a different paint job, of course.

It's not a tail, its a pair of exhaust pipes.
