WONDER WOMAN 1984 Set Video And Images Show Kristen Wiig Leaping Into Action As Cheetah

A new video and some spy photos from the set of Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman 1984 give us another look at Kristen Wiig as the villainous Cheetah, this time demonstrating her powers as she leaps into action.

As production continues on Wonder Woman 1984, and new video from the set gives us a glimpse of the sequel's villain in action.

The footage shows Cheetah (Kristen Wiig) using her abilities to make a very impressive leap straight into the air. The Bridesmaids actress is strapped into a rig to help her perform the stunt.

As you can see, Wiig does look somewhat different here than she did in that officially released image of Barbara Ann Minerva, but she doesn't appear to be very cat-like. Will Cheetah be depicted with a more human visage for the purposes of Patty Jenkins' sequel, or are we simply seeing her partially transformed here?

Check out the vid and some pics below and let us know what you think. Wonder Woman 1984 is set to hit theatres on November 1 2019.

Awesome. Can’t wait for this flick. We are in the golden age of CBMs!

@QuietStorm - I feel like we are near the end of the golden age. After watching Logan, Deadpool, and Infinity War everything besides that is steadily decreasing in quality. Black Panther and Wonder Woman are good but not "great". They are more cultural and inclusive milestones than great films. Logan represents the limit of CBM, DP represents the parody the genre, and Infinty War shows that all good things eventually end.

Valid points
on a very subjective topic
The genre has explored quite a bit, yes, with standout titles for sure;
but as any artform has shown time & time again,
only the persistence of vision can really define the limits of an artist's expression.

There will always be naysayers saying "we've reached this medium's pinnacle".

Fortunately there will always be pioneers & innovators hungry to prove that algorithms are MEANT to be broken.

Someone somewhere will always counter with "Oh yeah?!"

I hope those voices always win or humanity is dead to mediocrity, defeatism, stagnation & pessimism.

Wish this didn’t come out. Now people are going to jump to absurd conclusions and judge the movie before it’s seen in full context just like the Captain Marvel fiasco.

@BreakTheCode - Which fiasco? The suit? The fact that Brie Larson looks bored in everything we've seen her in? Or the one where she said she didn't want to hear what white male critics had to say about movies?
