Filming is set to start on Wonder Woman 2 shockingly soon according to director Patty Jenkins and we shall soon see Gal Gadot's heroine back in action facing off against her feline nemesis Cheetah (Kristen Wiig) in a new 1980's set adventure. That's not all that's new however as it's been revealed that the spirit of truth will be donning a new costume.

Warner Bros was in attendance at the 2018 Licencing Expo yesterday in Las Vegas where they showed off some brand new concept art for the highly anticipated Wonder Woman 2.  Photography is prohibited at these events but Daniel Eliesen was at the expo and provided a description of the work on display.

"Cheetah was literally a tease image based on what they want it to look like. Hard to explain but probably what you think, for WW it’s a battle gear, pretty cool."

Eliesen has since deleted the tweet containing this information. With little to no real plot information, it's unclear how this new battle gear will fit into the context of the film.  Maybe it's solely for going up against Cheetah ala Batman's mechanized suit in Batman v Superman or maybe they'll be another God-like antagonist in the films third act.

What's also interesting is that if the armor is of Amazonian design then could we see a return to Themyscira by the daughter of Hippolyta? We'll find out when the film hits theatres on 1st November 2019.

What do you think? Are you excited for Gal Gadot to have a different look in Wonder Woman 2? What would you like to see in the film? Leave your thoughts below.
