The precense of the villainous Ares in Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman film has been all but confirmed for some time now, with plot details and toy images slowly making their way out onto the web. The latest sneak peek comes courtesy of Entertainment Weekly, who have debuted an official look at one of the LEGO sets for the film which includes a simplified look at the god of war's design.

While we still don't know who is portraying Ares (leaks have hinted at both David Thewlis and Danny Huston being associated with the role), it appears he will be a massive threat for Diana, both literally and figuratively.

Check out the photo below, and let us know what you think! Wonder Woman charges into theatres on June 2, 2017.

Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers...and her true destiny.
