Bryan Singer Wants Halle Berry Back For X-MEN: DOFP, But Will It "Work Out"?
While chatting with UK E Online at the premiere of Jack The Giant Slayer, Singer once again expressed his excitement at reuniting with his old pals from his previous X-movies. But one name has been conspicuous by her absence - the lovely Miss Berry..
As we already know, X-Men: Days Of Future Past will bring together characters from both X-Men movie continuities for one big mutant-mash. Most of the main stars from Singer's first two X-flicks have signed on to return, with 3 notable exceptions: Famke Janssen (Jean Grey), James Marsden (Cyclops), and Halle Berry (Storm). Janssen has been rumored for a while, there's been no word on Marsden, and although Halle Berry has been mentioned in an unofficial capacity, now we know at least that Singer wants her on board. "I'm excited about all the actors," Singer told UK E Online at the premiere of his fantasy adventure flick Jack The Giant Slayer. "It's an incredible cast. It's a great story and it involves a lot of stuff that hasn't been in X-Men films before. New kids of technology, science fiction aspects." Then asked outright if Berry would don the white wig again he replied: "It depends on how it works out. I loved working with Halle, so all I can say is we'll see what happens." It can't be too long before an announcement is made one way or the other, but do you guys even want Berry back as Storm? She was famously...well, pretty awful in the first and third movies, although personally I thought she did a decent job in X-Men 2. Anyway, sound off below with your thoughts.
