X-MEN: SUPERNOVA Working Title And Production Start Date Possibly Revealed
While the next film in the X-Men franchise has yet to be officially announced, we have a possible production start date & working title, which might confirm another take on The Dark Pheonix Saga.
While we've yet to see any kind of official announcement regarding 20th Century Fox's next X-Men flick, we have been able to piece together some seemingly solid info from various online sources, and now it looks like we have a production start date courtesy of My Entertainment World.
According to them, cameras are scheduled to begin rolling on June 15 in Monreal, Canada. You might notice they've also included a synopsis, but while many sites have taken this as confirmation that the film will readapt The Dark Phoenix Saga, it's actually just the breakdown for Chris Claremont's comic arc.
In related news, Omega Underground points out that the working title is actually "Teen Spirit", and they've also heard that the studio won't be going with "Supernova" as the final title. Is there a chance the movie will simply be called X-Men: Dark Phoenix?
Though all of this information does back up what we've previously heard, without some kind of confirmation from Fox, we'll have to take it as rumor for the time being.
