X-MEN Director Bryan Singer Is Being Sued For Allegedly Sexually Assaulting A Teenager In 2003

Bryan Singer recently got fired from the Queen biopic he was directing and things just went from bad to worse for the filmmaker because some pretty horrifying allegations have now been made against him.

Earlier this week, Bryan Singer was fired from Bohemian Rhapsody after unprofessional behaviour and a falling out with lead star Rami Malek. The filmmaker hit back by saying that he had vanished from set because one of his parents is seriously ill but a newly filed lawsuit may shed some light on why things have gone wrong for the director. Apparently, he sexually assaulted a 17-year-old way back in 2003.

The incident is said to have taken place during a yacht party when Singer invited the youngster to a secluded room and proceeded to sexually assault him. It's said that the gathering was held by tech investor Leslie Waters, "who frequently hosted parties for young gay males in the Seattle area."

"Later, Bryan Singer approached Cesar and told him that he was a producer in Hollywood and that he could help Cesar get into acting as long as Cesar never said anything about the incident," the three claim document adds. "He then told Cesar that no one would believe him if he ever reported the incident, and that he could hire people who are capable of ruining someone’s reputation."

This isn't the first time Singer has been accused of something like this but he's denying all of these allegations. Based on what's happened to the likes of Kevin Spacey and John Lasseter, it's fair to say that this could bring the director's career to a swift end but it's not like he was ever going to return to the X-Men franchise anyway, especially as those characters look set to return to Marvel Studios.

"Allegedly"?

It's a common secret in Hollywood how much Singer enjoys his "pool parties". I'm not even American and i have heard of that.

This guy is a POS.

@Jeight8 - I'm kind of out of the news, what does he do at pool parties?

The Michael Egan case just "went away", and I was kinda annoyed how everyone on this site was quick to dismiss it both before and after. I don't know. Stories of Singer have been going around the internet for years, and cases here and there in the public.

Kevin Spacey has a library of similar stories/rumors, and all that turned out to be true.

@Kurne - There's a great documentary called "An Open Secret" that delves into this. Check it out.

As for Singer, let him burn.

@Kurne - all I’m going to say is.....go look at some of the pages Bryan Singer follows on his Instagram....a lot of them are candid shot photo pages of scantily clad twink dudes. Nothing wrong with that.....but it’s clear what his taste is

@MRjordansurf - Thank you for the information, but I am definitely not going to go and look at his Instagram pages. I know enough to know that pics of supposedly of-age people might be 17. And so I’ll get stick to looking at 60-yr olds, thank you!

@kallel - People with power often attain it so they can use it. Some to by things, some to help people, some to make themselves feel in control of others or wield it to get their carnal desires for those who are “lower on the food chain”, so to speak. Some don’t care about the accepted societal standards and just want to take to satisfy themselves, and feel justified and righteous because of their status.

And then the attitude is reinforced by the scumbags around them, so they don’t get the idea that what they are doing is morally apprehensive and abusive to others. After much needed jail time, these folks need some serious counseling.

The lawyer suing is the same lawyer who represented Egan. Egan was forced to issue a full apology as was the lawyer as the claims were 'provably' untrue. The claimant 'suing' is currently bankrupt. Anyone notice any issues here? No? I'm not saying he's not guilty, that's for the court to decide but come on let's at least report the whole story.

@BeyondtheFuture - As gross as the story sounds, I have to agree with you. About the worst thing you can call someone is a rapist or sexual predator. The worst thing you can call someone is a child rapist. We should not be quick to call anyone these things without hard proof, as it is very difficult to remove that stigma.

Yes, there are many stories about Singer, but until there are substantial witnesses and accusers or there is actual evidence or some kind of guilty verdict, it is pretty rough to call a person a pedofile based of stories.

Please don’t get me wrong... if he is doing these heinous things, I hope someone stops him with fists and boots.
