Mexican actor Adan Canto, who’s best known for his role on Fox’s
The Following, took to Twitter a while ago to announce that he’s joining the ensemble cast of Bryan Singer's
X-men: Days Of Future Past.
“Thrilled to be X-Men,” Canto tweeted at the time, and added:
“I might turn into a ball of fire if someone pisses me off.” This led fans to believe that he'd either be original New Mutant member Sunspot, or original X-Man Sunfire. Well, it would appear we have confirmation. In response to a tweet from a fan saying "I'm excited for @adancanto as Sunspot!!", Canto replied:
"Thanks! Next summer." Then deleted the Tweet. Nothing DEFINITE, but I'd be very surprised if Canto wasn't playing Roberto da Costa aka Sunspot in the movie.
