X-Men: First Class charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga, and reveals a secret history of famous global events. Before mutants had revealed themselves to the world, and before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Not archenemies, they were instead at first the closest of friends, working together with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop Armageddon. In the process, a grave rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto's Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-Men.

ya he looks like a blue teen wolf. Though when they cgi'ed his facial expressions in some of the action scenes he looked cool.

The one thing X-Men 3 got 100% right was Beast, interms of casting and make-up. I liked the performance in First Class, but the make up still looks kinda awkward.

Is that woman in the helmet and with Beast, the stunt double for Mystique or something? That would explain why Jennifer Lawrence isn't in the makeup in that photo later.

Beast looks actually like a Beast in First Class! and not just a blue hairy man like in X3. Plus, they've gone with the modern look of Beast thats currently in the comics which is good. :D

The woman with the Helmet and who's in the other pics is the costume designer for First Class I think, I read her blog.
She's not the same woman whose dressed as Mystique.

Emma Frost!?!? - that would be absurd. She's pretty, but not sexy or glamorous enough :/ Maybe a Jean Grey or something, but she's no Emma. She's not an actress anyway.

I didn't mind Beast in X-Men: First Class but agree with WellDrawn, 'Kelsey Grammer's Beast is was a perfect interpretation of Beast from the 90's animated series.' He looked, sounded and acted exactly as I wanted Beast to.

I completely disagree that FC Beast is a good interpretation of the comics or better than X3 Beast. Pale blue skin with bright blue fur is not cool. Beasts fur is dark blue. Shy nerdy voices also made it awkward.

But it would be sweet to tap that girl with the Beast costume on tho :)

The beach scene was awesome, it was very "colorful" with the costumes/make up and overall environment. When I saw the film I was shocked to see Las Vegas as a setting, given that I live there, the 'Atomic Casino' got a few laughs in the room. AZAZEL FTW!

I agree with Gandalf. Me and my brother were active comic book readers during the 90's. So the first image of Beast I saw was that of the 90's version.

Helmet looks awesome in that pic compared to how it looked in the movie....probably was the low angle of the camera in the scene and the rest of the costume ddnt help the helmet either

Guys complaining abt beast. keep an open mind that first class is abt when everyone was alot younger than what we've come to known. maybe they were trying to playing on the fact that when he got older he got darker and bluer with a deeper voice??? (hence kelsey grammer) just a thought..

Loved first class but, beast's mouth not matching with what he was speaking drove me crazy! It looked cheap, I wish they just would have CGI'd his mouth for more realistic expression. I mean the 90's ninja turtles costumes mouth's moved better!

Magneto's helmet looks EXCELLENT there! The colours are right on. On film the purple looked more fushia & to me that took away points from the final look.

How could anyone think First Class beast is good? he was terribly portrayed. 6 ft lanky nervous kid with a high pitched voice is a good pre-serum beast? His cgi cat face looked terrible. Did I mention how off putting his voice was in that beast suit? Dont get me started and how they down played his monkey like agility and instead gave him Quicksliver's speed so he could run around the mansion.

Kelsey grammer's beast was spot on. He was magnificent.

@Slaine: That chick is ugly and she totally photoshopped just her face in that picture so it looks brighter, smoother, and more saturated. Not to mention she made her teeth whiter. Sad

who do u think should be the villan in the next xmen first class movie ? personally i think it should be Omega RED some how the Russians create him and magneto tries to recruit him but he cant so the brother hood of mutants and the xmen have to team up to bring down omega red ...? yay or ney ?
