Bryan Singer Teases "Something New" With X-MEN: APOCALYPSE Set Pic
The director has posted a new BTS snap from the set of X-Men: Apocalypse, and while it doesn't directly reveal anything new about the movie, it does come with the promise of "something new" behind the now iconic metal doors of Cerebro. Click on to take a look and see what you make of it...
Pre-production on X-Men: Apocalypse is underway, and director Bryan Singer has posted a new BTS image to his Instagram. The doors seen below have featured in most of the previous X-Men movies, and usually lead to professor X's telepathy-enhancing machine, Cerebro. But it seems that won't be the case in this upcoming instalment. The image was accompanied by this caption: "I know. Old door. But there'll be something new behind it. #XmenApocalypse". So what could that be? The Danger Room perhaps? That training facility did appear in Brett Ratner's The Last Stand, but we've yet to see Singer's interpretation of it. Or maybe it's be something completely new to the franchise. What do you think?
Directed by Bryan Singer, X-Men: Apocalypse stars Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), James McAvoy (Professor X), Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Alexandra Shipp (Storm), Sophie Turner (Jean Grey), with Tye Sheridan (Cyclops), and Oscar Isaac (Apocalypse). The movie reportedly starts shooting this summer and will hit theaters on May 27, 2016.
