Ok, so first we had Civil War and then Age of Ultron vs. Marvel Zombies. Next? Years of Future Past. There's obviously no details - apart from the fact that it will reach us in Summer 2015 - but it's clearly paying homage to the classic Days of Future Past. It's hard to figure out what all this is leading to, but this is the first to use a different title, so it could be that Marvel will be launching some new interpretations of classic stories. So, Marvel is cancelling X-men titles so Fox won´t get free promotion to their movies.

BUT...Marvel is riding the wave of the latest Fox "X-men" movie to get sell rehashed nostalgia ridden X-men comics?

Why would you bet on that? In the original Days of Future Past comic, Kitty travels to the past like Wolverine did in the movie. She didn't have the powers to do so, though.

So, instead of pitting Marvel's heavies against each other, is this Secret Wars pitting Marvel's heavy events against each other? Is that what this is?

@CosmicLord

Indeed, It was Rachel Summers, a telepath who sent Kitty back to the past.

As a kid from the Claremont generation, this hits me in exactly the nostalgia G-spot.

Still, though, haven't picked up an X-Men comic in a long...long time.

Seeing this makes me miss the 80 costumes, hopefully Apocalypse has fun with the 80s such as Mohawk Storm

Maybe they're remaking some stuff that happened in these events, thus creating a semi-reboot?

Marvel needs to higher me on their creative team. I can spit out ideas like Awesome-o-5000! Like Adam Sandler is Wolverine and Wolverine has to go back to school because his rich Professor played by Kevin Nealon wants him to be smarter before he takes over the xmen and the original team isn't happy… With Drew Barrymore as Jean Grey, Kevin James as Beast, Colin Quinn as Cyclops, David Spade as Kitty Pryde, Steve Buscemi as Night Crawler, Shaquille O'Neal as Colossus, Nick Swardson as Angel, Chris Rock as token black mutant Storm, Tim Meadows as token black mutant #2 Bishop, Jon Lovitz as Magneto, Allen Covert as Saber Tooth, Jonathan Loughran as Juggernaut, Peter Dante as Mystque, and Rob Schneider as Toad.
and we can just let them interact on screen…
Shit this is a comic not a movie…
New idea coming soon…

I'm sorry, but this does kinda seem like a lack of creativity induced plan. Along with the Civil War "event"

I hope whatever happens in Secret Wars, it ends with a reboot.

Though I think it will just be a "EVERYTHING CHANGES" type of thing again and then not much will change after all. The event will then be followed by What If?s.

Does this scoop have anything to do with BvS?

Horrible idea. Marvel doesn't need a reboot.
