the intro is really beautiful, with the young Cyclops and Jean.

That was epic, and that's how it should have been done! Although back in 2000 CBMs were not considered a serious genre of film, so the decisions the studio made were basically to attract a much more skeptical audience back then.

@Millioso FOX actually had a number of reasons not to do it this way, mostly budgetary (Beast and Angel would have been too expensive to produce), and for attracting an audience, as Wolverine is easily the most recognisable X-Man to a general, perhaps casual Comic fan audience. Including Wolverine in the first movie, and placing him in a leader role, would attract a wider audience which would bring the X-Men to brand new fans.
X-Men wasn't that bad, I mean yes Cyclops should have been more prominent as a leader, or at least struggled over leadership with Logan, and in an ideal world where budgets weren't an issue Angel and Beast should have been there too, and the uniforms should have been more accurate to the comics (not 100% as they wouldnt translate well, but more accurate than the black leather), but disregarding that the film was good and paved the way for an excellent sequel and what could have been a brilliant franchise if FOX hadn't deviated so much in the latter films.

It brings a tear to my eye. This is how it should have been. Thanks

Fan made trailers suck...do something better with your time bro...i''ll never get why you folks like this...if you want to be a film maker, i'd rather see YOUR stuff, rather than a pointless collage of other people's work, plus this just angers me because it reiterates the fact that the new film's roster isn't the first class...however i won't deny that you did a good job

Nice fake trailer, but picture is bad - Madsen isn't so tall.

Like I said before, the series now is getting out of hand, with X-MEN ORIGINS, and First Class. I really want them to reboot into the Marvel Cinematic universe. And they should go with the original line up.
