X-Men: First Class charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga, and reveals a secret history of famous global events. Before mutants had revealed themselves to the world, and before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Not archenemies, they were instead at first the closest of friends, working together with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop Armageddon. In the process, a grave rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto's Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-Men.

It looks like the studio is finally gearing up to release the first official trailer and much more from the movie.

X-Men: First Class stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Kevin Bacon, Nicholas Hoult, Caleb Landry Jones, Jennifer Lawrence and Lucas Till.

Film is set to hit theatres on June 3!

mmmm... in my mind I'll just eliminate the "X-men" from the title and go watch it... maybe it won't suck as much if I totally forget it has something to do with one of my favorite comic books. Besides, I probably do so in the first 15 minutes of the movie anyway...

As an X-Men movie it will most likely be so-so. As a Sci-fi/action movie it will probably be pretty spectacular if not for being surrounded by the likes of Green Lantern, Thor, Pirates and Captain America.

I cant wait until Fox loses the rights to the X-men.

about the real first class thing...

some of the comics fans seem to forget that there was a mini series called..

"Deadly Genesis"

that revealed that there was another team before the second genesis with Logan, Storm and more. In that miniseries one of the members was Darwin, who is in this movie. Coincidence?....

Its clear Bryan Singer was inspired by that miniseries.
