Hasbro Unveils Our First Look At New X-MEN Movie Marvel Legends Action Figures

Hasbro never released any Marvel Legends action figures based on the characters from Fox's X-Men movies, but now that the merry mutants are back under the Marvel Studios umbrella, that's all changed!

Although we have seen some awesome X-Men-inspired action figures in the Marvel Legends line over the years, Hasbro was never allowed to produce toys directly based on the likenesses of the characters from 20th Century Fox's X-Men movies. However, now that the rights to those mutant heroes and villains are back with Marvel Studios/Disney, that's all changed.

During New York Toy Fair over the weekend (via Nerdist), Hasbro unveiled its Marvel Legends X-Men Movie figures, and if you were a fan of Fox's take on these iconic characters (yes, they are out there) then these will likely be must-haves.

There are five single figures and two double packs in this first wave, but more are sure to be on the way. The singles have an approximate retail price of $24.99 while the 2-packs are $49.99. All of these X-Men movies Marvel Legends figures will drop sometime in Fall of 2020.

MARVEL LEGENDS SERIES 6-INCH CABLE Figure

The Josh Brolin version of Cable is a Marvel Legends figure.

This first figure is based on Josh Brolin's take on Cable from Deadpool 2, and it's a pretty good likeness of the time-travelling badass, complete with teddy bear and a very, very big gun.

This figure is a Wal-Mart and WalMart.com exclusive.

MARVEL LEGENDS SERIES 6-INCH DOMINO Figure

Zazie Beetz's version of Domino from Deadpool 2 is a new Marvel Legends figure.

The next Deadpool 2 figure is Domino. This doesn't really look that much like Zazie Beetz, but is still a pretty cool figure.

The luck-powered mutant doesn't come with many weapons or accessories, though - just a pair of holstered pistols and her fists.

MARVEL LEGENDS SERIES 6-INCH DEADPOOL & NEGASONIC TEENAGE WARHEAD 2-PACK

The Deadpool movie's Negasonic Teenage Warhead is a Marvel Legends figure.

Movie Deadpool in a 2-pack of Marvel Legends figures with Negasonic Teenage Warhead

Our first 2-pack features Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand) and The Merc With a Mouth himself (Ryan Reynolds).

The youngster comes with power effects that can be added to her arms, while Wade is sporting a pair of pistols and his trusty katanas.

MARVEL LEGENDS SERIES 6-INCH MYSTIQUE Figure

Rebecca Romijn's Mystique joins the new X-Men movies Marvel Legends line

While we will almost certainly see a figure based on Jennifer Lawrence's version of Mystique at some point, this one boasts the likeness of Rebecca Romijn’s take on the shape-shifting mutant from the first X-Men movie.

No weapons, but then Raven never used 'em anyway.

MARVEL LEGENDS SERIES 6-INCH PROFESSOR X & MAGNETO 2-PACK

Ian McKellen's Magneto joins the new X-Men movies Marvel Legends line

Patrick Stewart's Professor X joins the new X-Men movies Marvel Legends line

Our next 2-pack includes the original versions of Magneto and Professor X, played by legendary actors Sir Ian McKellen and Sir Patrick Stewart, and the younger takes that were introduced in X-Men: First Class!

James McAvoy's Professor X joins the new X-Men movies Marvel Legends line

Michael Fassbender's Magneto joins the new X-Men movies Marvel Legends line

Yes, these figures come with different head choices, allowing you to switch to James McAvoy’s Charles and Michael Fassbender’s Erik if you want to take a few years off these longtime friends/foes.

MARVEL LEGENDS SERIES 6-INCH WOLVERINE Figure (jacket)

Hugh Jackman's Wolverine from Origins joins the new X-Men movies Marvel Legends line

This will probably be the most sought-after figure in this first batch: an awesome likeness of Hugh Jackman's Wolverine.

It looks like Hasbro has decided to base his look on the much-maligned X-Men: Origins Wolverine, which seems like an odd choice until you realize it was either than or the black leather costume!

MARVEL LEGENDS SERIES 6-INCH WOLVERINE Figure (tanktop)

Hugh Jackman's Wolverine with white tanktop and bone claws joins the new X-Men movies Marvel Legends line

Wolverine wears a tanktop in this Marvel Legends figure.

Finally we have the white-tanktopped take on Logan from Days of Future Past.

This version comes with two heads and two sets of hands, allowing you to switch between calm and berzerker-rage face, and metal claws and bone claws. A set of dog tags is also included.

I keep forgetting that Marvel refused to put out any Fox toys all those years

Now we can finally get naked people, people in street clothes, and people in whatever costumes fox were letting through between 2016 and 2018

Anyone else in disbelief at the amount of X-Men merchandise being pumped out lately? It's almost as if Feige is building buzz again.

@SonOfAGif - I love it, personally. I mean, could totally do without any Fox-Men merch. But X-Men in general is awesome. It also goes to show that the movies really were only about 4 characters. The only toys they made were Wolverine, Xavier, Magneto, and Mystique. In a toy line titled X-Men, there is literally only ONE X-Man. I refuse to count Mystique as an X-Man...

It's kind of funny. Remember people that tried to defend Disney/Marvel by saying they weren't actively screwing over the X-Men in all media? Now look lol. And it will only get bigger.
