Hugh Jackman Confirms Earlier Reports Of Time Travel In X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST
Commenting briefly on his return as Wolverine in X-Men: Days of Future Past, Hugh Jackman has confirmed that we will indeed see time travel in the Bryan Singer helmed sequel and also promises that, "Every other actor who’s ever put on a superhero uniform will be in it."
The title and return of several actors from the previous trilogy of X-Men movies was more than enough for us to come to a pretty safe conclusion that time travel would factor into X-Men: Days of Future Past, but Hugh Jackman has now confirmed it! 20th Century Fox consultant Mark Millar did let it slip in an interview not too long ago, but that was very much just an off the cuff comment (although he did recently mention there being "one element of time jump" in the movie). After all, it was possible that director Bryan Singer would instead use flash-forward's to show us an alternate future (thereby keeping the slightly more grounded tone of the previous instalments in the franchise), but the Academy Award nominated actor very specifically mentioned time travel while talking to The Daily Mail recently. "There’s an element of time travel and, naturally, it will be action-packed," Jackman told the site before moving on to talk about which other superheroes we should expect to see appear in the movie. However, it seems like a safe bet that he's exaggerating somewhat! "You wouldn’t have enough room on the page after you’ve listed them all. Every other actor who’s ever put on a superhero uniform will be in it." Now all we need is for someone out there to hurry up and confirm the appearance of Sentinels...
