Hugh Jackman Thinks The Late Heath Ledger Would Have Made A Good WOLVERINE

The Dark Knight's Heath Ledger would have turned 35 today, and as a fitting tribute, fellow Aussie Hugh Jackman revealed that he always thought the late Joker actor would have made a great "young Wolverine". Check out the video after the jump.

Yahoo! have posted a fan Q&A video with three of the starts of Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days Of Future Past, Michael Fassbender, James McCavoy and Hugh Jackman. When Fassbender relays the question "if you weren't playing the character, who do you think would make a good Wolverine?" to Jackman, the actor responds: “Originally, when I played it [first], when he was alive God rest his sole, I thought Heath Ledger could be a good young version of [Wolverine].” Some fun banter from the trio follows, so be sure to watch the vid in full.

There's no doubt Ledger made a terrific Joker (and remeber that a great many people doubted he would when he was cast) but how do you think he'd have fared as Wolverine? Sound off below.
