X-Men Days of Future Past Prof X

In the video above, McAvoy told RCNTV he knows nothing about X-Men: Apocalypse, only learning about it the very morning that the rest of us did. But he did say he's contractually obligated to do another X-Men movie so if he's in 'Apocalypse' [or some other X-Men movie] then he'll be back. McAvoy also discussed co-stars Michael Fassbender and Jennifer Lawrence, calling them his pals who just so happen to be the top young actors of today.

Why won't anyone deal with the elephant in the room? Why does Wolverine have metal claws in the future? Bryan Singer is quick to tell us that Apocalypse isn't an alien, but there's no mention of this issue.

In the after credit scene of the wolverine he has the bone claws so he prolly doesn't have the metal claws anymore. I assume the scene in the trailer is Logan in his younger body when he still had claws

I just answered your enquiry into the metal claws

I have mixed feelings about this. I mean there's just so many questions for XMDOFP and it's continuity along with it's characters. Also i think it's weird how Bryan Singer just announced his next X:men film on twitter even though XMDOFP isnt out yet.

@DoctorWeird: No, you didn't. You HOPE that's what happens. It's looking, right now, that there's a big continuity flaw here. James Mangold isn't talking about those metal claws either, yet he's talking about a 3 Wolverine film. No one wants to see a film where Wolverine only has bone claws.

They can't, but thats what happening

To be honest i preferred the first option they had of Wolverines meeting which altered the timeline in a way that stopped current day Wolverine losing his claws. But in typical Fox fashion that would not only have appeared terrible on screen, but also messed with Mangold's continuity as well

Anything is better than Magneto popping them back on though

You asked, i gave you what they are doing. Doesnt mean i approve of it

@OldGreg: He didn't have his memories back. He only remembered that scene, because he visited the site. However, in the Extended Cut he has memories before he visits the site, so there appears to be a continuity flaw. And I DO have a problem with it.

If I dont see Cyclops and Archangel in the next movies, Im gonna be sooo dissapointed.

You cant do an epic Age of Apocalypse addaptation without the leader and the badass Archangel. Fox... dont miss this chance!

@OldGreg: It's not in both. The theatrical doesn't show the memory he has on the plane which is the first memory he has of the war. I'm not bitching about the claws. I asked a question and bitched about FOX. Why is that difference difficult for you to grasp?
