Jennifer Lawrence Trades Bodypaint For Bodysuit In X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST

Instead of going through the painstaking bodypaint process, Jennifer Lawrence will wear a bodysuit in Byran Singer's X-Men: Days of Future Past. She also reveals that she does have a script in hand and that filming starts "May-ish".

Jennifer Lawrence is coming off a Cinderella Awards Season and is preparing to head straight into filming on Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of Future Past in the coming months. In X-Men: First Class, Lawrence had to endure hours of bodypaint for the character of Mystique however that doesn't look to be the case this time around.

"I'm so excited because I'm going to wear a body suit," Jennifer Lawrence told E!. "It will be from neck down so it will cut out time and the blisters."

Will we see a similar technique for Nicholas Hoult's Beast who also had to endure hours in the makeup chair? Hopefully, the SFX department can match the aesthetic of paint in the bodysuit's texture. Lawrence went on to reveal that unlike some of her other co-stars, she does have a script in hand that she's currently reading and that filming is expected to kick-off "May-ish".

Rebecca Romijn endured bodypaint for three films and Jennifer Lawrence just once.

i still don't know why we had a naked mystique in four movies with lumps all over her body.

why couldn't she of had blue skin & clothes like mystique does in the comics,i've seen cosplayers create better costumes then what fox came up with.

If it achieves the same look, why not. And JL is pretty much the perfect woman imo.

Oh good, I'm not the only one who hates the scales. I have only seen Miss Lawrence in First Class and Hunger Games, not her Oscar roles, so I don't get the hype at the moment. And I don't like how they painted her for Mystique.

Since a couple people mentioned Juggernaut, do you guys things the next Juggernaut interpretation should be CG like the Hulk?

I do like Jennifer Lawrence as an actress and from what I can tell as a person. She seems like a responsible person.

Her forehead made mystique look like she has downs.

I hope they tone down the scales and make mystique sexy again

I'm sorry, but I really think she was miscast as Mystique in FC. She just had no character and I really think she was not lethal at all. I know she was portraying young Mystique, but you should have at least seen a hint of what she would become, in my opinion.
