Lucas Till Unsure Whether Havok Is In X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST

During an interview, the X-Men: First Class actor says he is unsure about his return for the upcoming sequel Days Of Future Past. With shooting scheduled to begin fairly soon and most of the principal cast already in Canada, is this confirmation of no Havok?

In a recent interview with ShockTillYouDrop about his new film Crush, Lucas Till said that he is not yet quite sure about whether he'll be reprising his role as Havok in the X-Men: First Class sequel, Days Of Future Past. Read an excerpt from the interview below.

STYD: As a kid growing up wanting to be a super hero, it must have been very surreal to be cast as Havok in X Men: First Class.
Till: You have no idea! People have really seen the movie, by now, and they are coming up to me and telling me that I did a good job. I think that is kind of the last piece of fulfillment. I’m hyper competitive. I wanted that job more than anything. I ended up getting it and took it really seriously. When I watch these movies, I want people to do the character justice, and a lot of times, they don’t. I didn’t even try to determine if I had done a good job, but it’s super surreal to have people come up to me and tell me that I did do a good job. It’s really nice and super surreal.

STYD: Your involvement was rumored and then the film dropped off of your IMDb page. Can you clear it up for us? Will you be back as Havok?
Till: You know what? I wish I could tell you, but unfortunately I still can’t give you an answer.

Considering X-Men: Days Of Future Past is scheduled to start shooting in three days, I think it is clear that he won't be returning.

I was hoping that this was going to be one of the plot holes in FC that they were going to tie up with Alex being Scotts brother and all. There was no mention of his parents in FC from what I remember, could have been sent back somehow when he was younger yada yada yada so he wouldn't have any knowledge of being in a different time.

Story wise, it could fit as Alex has a habit of disappearing to alternative realities (in the rather good Mutant X series)

Just a thought.

Time for a reboot seriously. I'd reboot with an xmen: children of the atom type film. But that follows the continuity in the comics too while taking creative liberties. Kid have my roster here- cyclops, iceman, angel, beast (human version) and professor x versus magnetos brotherhood: scarlet witch, toad, quicksilver, mastermind. I'd have original cast with a tone and humor similar to ultimate xmen. There are so many errors in the men films at this point it'd be better to do what everyone else is doing and reboot it.
