X-Men: Days of Future Past is an upcoming American superhero film co-written, produced and directed by Bryan Singer and featuring the X-Men characters appearing in Marvel Comics. It is intended to be the seventh installment in the X-Men film series. The screenplay is written by Simon Kinberg, Matthew Vaughn, and Jane Goldman, with Singer writing the story. The film is based on the 1981 Uncanny X-Men storyline "Days of Future Past" by Chris Claremont and John Byrne. It is the third X-Men film directed by Singer after 2000's X-Men and 2003's X2.

The whole X-men movie franchise needs to be dumped and rebooted. Start with Scott, Jean, Hank, Bobby and Warren. Seriously, If the Avengers would have been Wolverine, Quicksilver, Vision and a teenage Tony Stark, there would have been a riot. I was hoping First Class was going to fix that garbage but no, they adopted it... Maybe the second time around we could get someone attractive to play Rogue, and give her back the southern charm instead of emo Rogue that everyone thinks is lame. One of the greatest things about X-men was the cultural diversity that was brought in in the 70's with Sunfire, Storm, Warpath, Nightcrawler, Colossus, and Wolverine. Not sure why Storm and Colossus were American. Kinda Surprised that Wolverine wasn't from Jersey. This was just as bad as what Michael Bay did to Transformers. Where "Days of Future's Past" is a great storyline I'm not convinced that movie will do it any justice as none of the other movies have done the X-men justice.

@suspense X-men did not make Halle Barry a household name. Her name recognition helped propel X-men (which arguably helped kickstart the comic move era). But she did not do the role justice in my opinion. She's an attractive woman but she played the role so dry and bland. Ryan Reynolds as well was already well known matter of fact was embraced by comic and movie fans to be Deadpool because of witty banter (But Fox seaed his mouth shut). You were on point about the other names though.
