POLL: Do You Want To See An X-Men: First Class Sequel?

With film making its debut on DVD & Blu-Ray today in US, producer Lauren Shuler Donner talked about a sequel to Matthew Vaughn's X-Men: First Class and by reading everything, it seems that they are seriously thinking of moving forward. But, would you like to see that sequel?

It's safe to say that most people really liked X-Men: First Class. Matthew Vaughn's take on our favorite mutant heroes was unique, fresh and it was an overall good film. Now, film was released today in US on DVD and Blu-Ray, and with that, producer Lauren Shuler Donner shared some info on many projects including on what is going on with First Class sequel. She said that if they are going to do it, it must be with director Matthew Vaughn. Which, lets face it, is the best idea. But, like everything in Hollywood, things change every day. While Donner also mentioned X-Men 4 could happen (probably not at this point), right now they are seriously talking about First Class sequel.

I was never really a fan of the idea of a sequel for a prequel; reminds me of the prequel trilogies for Star Wars when only Revenge of the Sith is the true definate prequel for the original triology.

For First Class, I think they shouldn't make a sequel for that; the continuity is already confussing enough, I think this movie alone is good enough for a prequel that doesn't need a sequel.

Though if they do a sequel, I better see Sentinals.

Yes, I want more of that! It was just lovely! Not just best X-men movie, not just best comic book movie, but actually THE best movie ever made. It has amazing spirit and soul, it's soooo joyful and at the same time it's smart and delivers great ideas without being pretentious and snobbish!

Sure..just hope they keep the same tone as the first. Dont try to overdue it with characters, but create a well written story. Also keep to their word and add Cable

Not really, the first one was good with story and Charles and Erik early relationship, I would only change my mind if they confirm that are going to be new mutants on it, like Cyclops, Jean and maybe Storm, but if they are going to have the same characters from the first, and only show how Charles and Erik relationship and personalities will change/grow I not interested on it then. So it's a maybe for me

Its kind of weird, I like First Class better than all the other X-men movies.But I don't like any of the characters in the movie besides Eric and Charles.

No its the perfect time for them, the US government just found out about the existence of mutants in first class so in the sequel if they start it off with the Kennedy assassination, then the government hires Trask and the Sentinels r born!!

Yes lets see more random a$$ characters that nobody really care about, and lets throw Cable, Nathaniel (X-Men) Grey in to. We'll make Cable Scott's uncle, Nate Jean's third cousin twice removed. Hell lets throw Rachel Summers in as Scotts younger sister for shits and giggles. Fox decided a long time ago to throw any sense of continuity out the window.

@gost I agree wit you completely. Seriously I hope Marvel Studios gets the rights back and reboots the f**k out the X-Men. Well, I mean this movie was pretty OK, but the only thing I really liked was Fassbender and Mcavoy. Everyone else was either a lameass, unknown mutant or just annoying. I also wanna see something other than Xavier vs. Magneto, other than the Sentinels, who are their other enemies? Sequel only if they put the REAL X-Men in it, keep the costumes from First Class, they were pretty cool.

i'll probably watch x-men first class 2,but they need to change some of the line ups because they're shit characters that don't really intrest me.

x-men 4 would be a good idea with cable or bishop trying to sort out the f*cked univere & maybe feature villains such as apocalyspe,mr sinister or the sentinels.

X-Force or Uncanny X-Force. Impossible? Yup!
In that case, I'd like to see X-23's (Laura Kinney) origins explored. Maybe flash forward 17 years in present time, and have the X-men (including Prof.X) investigate the mutant killings execution style by some 'mysterious assassin'. Big cover-up /conspiracy afoote & so on...
