Rob Liefeld Wants Stephen Lang for Cable

Stephen Lang, last seen in Avatar as Colonel Miles Quaritch, seems to be the only choice for the creator of Cable, Rob Leifeld, if it comes to a CBM.

So, I just bought the whole Arc of Cable & Deadpool. After beeing through with it, I was really into this duo. Loved the connection. But I never knew too much about Cable, so I did me some research.

I found this article (from december 09), where some Twitter messages from Rob Liefeld were shown:

After seeing Avatar Liefeld posted the following on Twitter.

@robertliefeld Dear 20th Century Fox, Please sign Steven Lang as Cable and put him in your next X-men film. Thanks, Rob

@robertliefeld Steven Lang’s performance as Quaritch in Avatar was brilliant. Just attach a cyborg arm to him and presto! he’s Cable. Perfect age too.

The site also shows a picture of Stephen Lang, in the movie Avatar.

Now, imho, I would agree with him. If Stephen would bulk up a little more, he could pull it off.

What do you think?

Kind regards,
"Your friendly German sidekick, Darantino"

PS: This is my first article, so play nice on me, if somethings wrong. :)
