Take That Song Said To Feature In X-Men: First Class!

Apparently, Matthew Vaughn has chosen a new song from the popular British band to feature in X-Men: First Class. Seems like an odd choice for a movie set in the 60s, but hit the jump for details...

From The Press Association:

Take That will provide a song for the X-Men: First Class soundtrack, it has been reported.

The decision was made after Gary Barlow played the song Love Love to director Matthew Vaughn after dinner one night, according to the Sun.

A source said: "Matthew invited Gary over to his house and asked him to bring some tracks he thought were suitable for the film. He instantly took a liking to Love Love and felt it summed up the tone of the movie."

The source continued: "Gary was chuffed as it means a global audience will hear the record."

Seems like an odd choice for a movie set in the 1960s, but one of their songs did appear in Matthew Vaughn's Stardust and it has been reported that this movie is, "a love story between two men". The above mentioned tune hasn't been released yet, but here is one of their other songs in case you're curious.

X-Men: First Class is set to be released in the UK on June 1st and in the US on June 2nd.
