Popular high school student Cayden Richards wakes from a horrific nightmare, only to realize that he’s living it… He is changing into something vicious, unpredictable and wild. Forced to hit the road after the brutal murder of his parents, Cayden tries to hunt down the truth of what he is. In the remote, mountain town of Lupine Ridge, he discovers others like him — Including the beautiful Angelina, a young woman caught between two ancient clans of “wolves”. And when he finally discovers the shocking truth behind his ancestry, Cayden realizes there is only one way to save the woman he loves… A grisly fight to the death, against forces more savage than he could have ever imagined.

Wolves will be released VOD on October 16th, and opens in theaters on November 14th.

Good practical effects will always look better than CGI...bad on the other hand. This is ok though. I doubt the actual movie will be.

I'll check it out, might be a fun romp.

@ManCalledSting
The Thing (1982) is such a great movie! One of Kurt Russel's best performances and in my opinion it is John Carpenter's best film to date.

I always prefer practical effects. I wish The Hobbit films would use it more often. However, this does not look all that interesting. I'll see how it turns out.

Wow, this looks terrible. They all look like cousins of Beast from X-men.

"Popular high school student Cayden Richards wakes from a horrific nightmare, only to realize that he’s living it…"

I'd be living in it if I paid money to see this crap.

@ManCalledSting thanks for the wa was wa...I knew it was coming!
A bad effect is a bad effect, however;
Great practical effects stand out in a film. Great CG, doesn't. The best effects are the ones you don't see.
The CG replacement of the practical effects on the thing was WRONG....but it wouldn't have mattered either way. The movie was doomed from the start.
On the flip side, Dawn of the planet of the apes > Tim Burton's Apes.
