-Fastest man, or person, in the Marvel universe.
-Son to one of the most powerful mutants, or persons, in the X Universe.
-Twin brother to one of the potentially scariest beings in the world.
-Father to an emotionally questionable daughter.
-Uncle to a pair of amazingly talented young men.
-Ex-Husband to a gifted Inhuman
-Reject to top-grossing movie franchise that includes several of his well-known comrades, relatives, and adversaries?
Pietro Maximoff is a man of speed, intelligence, and leadership yet also stubborness, arrogance, and anger. A versatile character, the man we have grown to love and call Quicksilver is few and far between one of the most interesting mutants the Marvel universe has to offer. Yet, whether it's due to Marvel or Fox's dislike for him, lack of special effects men, or just laziness to look for a suitable portrayor, we have not seen this man, apart from a scared little bleach-blonde inmate, on the big screen. Now I would just like to ask one very simple question: WHY?
Personally, I haven't encountered a man that resembles Pietro. A number of actors have been suggested for the role: James Marsters and Paul Bettay among others. But only one man has caught my eye. One man that, if chosen to play this green/white or blue/white blur, I would not let loose a single negative comment over. That man is Cam Gigandet. Tell me what you think of Cam, Pietro, this article, etc. I'd love to know.
