Wolverine - You'll believe a man can...love?

X-men Origins: Wolverine is the first of (I assume) many more films that delve into the origins and past of characters from the X-men lineup. As the title suggests this particular feature focuses on none other than wolverine... uhhh just like the last three X-men films?

Yes, just like the last three smart ass
But as a wolverine fan I was ready and willing to hop on board for one more snikt, but was the movie any good??? I don't know, I mean I saw it (in theaters not leaked, shame on you) hell some parts had me pumped, but when all was said and done I was completely mixed on the movie. Okay I’ll start with the good, the action was pretty damn cool, Hugh Jackman is wolverine, Ryan Reynolds was perfect, the supporting cast were all decent, gambit was finally brought to the big screen :D and so was deadpool!!! Or maybe not :(
Now the bad, THE PLOT was terrible, everything moved to fast in the beginning then just completely halts in the middle during Wolverine’s calm years, I mean completely halts I got soooo bored watching wolverine look into the eyes of the women anyone with a brain could see would die, and die she does but wait she was ploy used by Striker to convince Logan to become the "animal" and attach the adamantium to his skeleton... but wait she really didn't die and was really working for Striker and used her mutant powers to convince Wolverine to love her... BUT wait she really did love him... but wait now she dies :(, you see it’s a mess, felt more like a soap opera then a action flick. I kept waiting for the DUM DUM DUM anytime a plot twist was revealed. And that’s just the half of it the wolverine and sabretooth plot was awesome but then… when the feud builds up to this inevitable final epic battle, it all falls apart at the end when the two team up, with this line "if anyone's gonna kill you it'll be me" urrgh *rolls eyes* basically the plot was horrible, unfortunately another thing that I found disappointing in this movie was wolverine, okay settle down everyone I am a huge wolverine fan but after three films I kinda got tired of it. It all felt stale and same old same old. I was more interested in all the other mutants such as Gambit, Emma Frost, Blob, John Wraith, Cyclops, and *gulp* even DeadPool, but they all have maybe about 10 mins of screen time combined. Also the CGI was laughable, there were times I thought I was watching a cut scene from a video game. And of course my number one problem I had with this movie (beside the "magic" adamantium bullet, don't ask D<) was Deadpool, he was completely raped and bastardize, he was transformed into the the merc with the sewn mouth??
But overall it was a decent action summer flick and I honestly didn’t hate it so I give a mediocre score of 7 outta 10
