The BBC is reporting that young unknown actor Scott Madej has been cast as "the Young Professor X" in X-Men 3, according to Ain’t It Cool News.
Flashbacks to Xavier's childhood fit in with talk that Vinnie Jones will be his stepbrother Cain Marko, a.k.a. Juggernaut, in the film. Patrick Stewart is expected to return as Prof. X.
Previous rumors had Madej cast as Gambit and Ain't It Cool News cites a source claiming director Matthew Vaughn had considered him for the role.
