Bryan Singer Reveals That 'Havok' Will Return For X-MEN: APOCALYPSE

Bryan Singer has taken to Instagram to welcome back a number of stars from X-Men: First Class, and among them is Lucas Till's Havok. It sounds like we'll be getting a Summers family reunion in X-Men: Apocalypse then, but how will they explain him barely ageing between movies?

As awesome as it will be to (possibly) see Cyclops and Havok standing side by side on the big screen, how will they explain the age difference? Scott must have been a baby when Alex was fighting with Charles in his "First Class" some 20 odd years ago, but obviously hasn't aged as that movie was only released back in 2011. What a clusterf**k! Of course, there are plenty of other characters returning who won't look that different, so some suspension of disbelief might be all that's required here...

But why would they need to explain his age? Prof X, Mags, Mystique, Beast...all from First Class, all the same actors, all have aged the same amount.

the age thing is a license. Its movies, not reality. The audience can accept that license and move on.

Anyway, so happy to see Havok again, seeing him next to Cyclops will be something quite special, after all these years. So hyped right now

Hmmmm there's a lot of characters in this movie. Too many I think. Havok is my favorite xmen but he wasn't done right in the first 2 so I doubt he'll be done right again

Should've been confirmed to come back months ago but it should be neat seeing their relationship on screen together. Wonder if we'll see him working under Sinister or Apocalypse?

I always thought that their mutations allowed them to live longer and age slower than humans.

They won't explain their aging cause nobody doesn't really age in these x-men movies(it seems all mutants have slow aging powers).
Michael Fassbender and James Mcavoy supposed to be in their 50s in X-men Apocalypse soo.....

It would be really screwed up if Cyclops has to off his own brother in order to save lives or something of those realms. In the comics he rolls out and does his own thing alongside Polaris if I'm correct. But it seems like this film will easily start off with the team already assembled from the beginning so it's hard to say what things may have transpired/fell off between Havok and Profssor Xavier.

Is he still Cyclop's brother in this version? I'd be nice if they at least made his plasma blasts white instead of reddish/pink. Don't quite understand why they had to change that.

I think he could be cyclops uncle in the cinematic continuity, too old to be his bro....the ageing part maybe his ability to absorb solar energy slows his aging idk lol

Who cares? He sucked in first class, why would I want to see him again? Lucas was boring, generic, only relevant because he was a summers, he was nothing like havoc, he didn't even have the same powers as havoc, he is now going to be Scott's older bro I guess which totally throws off their relationship, it makes no sense continuity wise...just another character fox has ruined.

I don't disagree, but at least with Avengers:Infinity War it's more likely that most of the team members will be characters that we've seen on screen for more than 2 or 3 minutes. Watching DoFP last night reminded me of how many neat characters are included as just glorified cameos/cannon fodder.
