A lot of people weren't happy with the final design that was used in the movie for Apocalypse, with some even firing shots at it comparing it to Ivan Ooze from the Power Rangers. Well, conceptual artist Jared Krichevsky was given the opportunity to offer his own inspiration for the villain, which you can see in the images down below. On his site, he explains that "Age of Apocalypse was on of my favorite X-Men series and I was a huge fan of the 90's toon, so this was a lot of fun to do." As you can see, the 90s cartoon looked to be a big inspiration for his work. What do you think, would you have preferred this look or were you happy with what we got? Comment your always well received opinions below.

I don't like these. I also thought the design in the film was fine. It was pretty comic accurate and certainly better than that awful early design shown in Entertainment Weekly stills (where he looked like a Power Rangers villain).

En Sabah Nur was probably the biggest disappointment in a comic film ever. He was horribly bland and played by a weakling. Good actor yeah but not suited nor intimidating at all. He didn't even grow in size at the end. Just Hollywood crap.

Singer makes Wolverine too big and Apocalypse too small. Um, something is very wrong with this man. Got to go.
