New X-MEN: APOCALYPSE TV Spot Spoils Nearly Every Single Surprise Left In The Movie

20th Century Fox has spoiled way too much of X-Men: Apocalypse in trailers for the movie, and now a TV spot ruins both Jean Grey's transformation into the Phoenix and the return of the Sentinels. As a result, pretty much the only thing they haven't shown off so far is Wolverine's cameo, so you're probably going to want to check the movie out before they end up ruining that for everyone as well...

ince the dawn of civilization, he was worshiped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.

As well as returning cast members Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, and Nicholas Hoult, X-Men: Apocalypse will also introduce Alexandra Shipp, Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Lana Condor, Oscar Isaac, Ben Hardy, Olivia Munn, and a number of others. The movie is set to be released on May 27th, 2016. What do you guys think of this new clip from the movie? Sound off below...

This TV spot managed to be more spoilery than all the trailers, clips, interviews, leaks and everything else combined.

@SuperPateta - for all of us on this site, yes you are correct, but for the general audience they don't know what any of the references are...

I could imagine someone who knows Sophie from game of thrones and thinking "oh shit she's exploding on screen or on fire!!! That looks cool. I'll go see that".

These tv spots are not directed at us. They're for the tweeners that may have seen DOFP and the sentinels were in that so "hey check out this one cuz the last one had sentinels."

Listen, advertisers are always going to try and give away too much of the movies cuz there's so much financially riding on the movie and they need asses in the seats. But read my post above... Just resist watching the trailers more than once and change the channel when the tv spots come on and don't read articles that say spoilers ahead! Duh?!? Get some effin will power....

Just back from watching X-Men. Killed more people than The Man of Steel.
Entertaining and BIG but had to many holes in story. Liked Jean Grey at the end.

7 Stars out of 10 Stars, Messy story line good comic book action CGI needs work.

@ComicsBornAndBred - All they didn't show was Havok dying.

Yeah yeah, I know. I'm an asshole. [frick] me. But it's really not that important or well done, considering they used that point in the film for the Quicksilver toe-tapper.
