Out of all the horrible movies they "dissect", they spend 19 minutes on V for Vendetta? Ya, it's not perfect, but goddamn

I wasn't the biggest fan of DOFP as it seemes everyone else is but I couldn't sit through this video. This tool goes on about the smallest quibbles and nitpicks like a little bitch who has waaaayyyy too much time on his hands. I found the movie kind of boring and too focused on Mystique. Just get to Cyclops, Jean and the real Iceman please, the real first class.

When will Cinema Sins actually be funny again?

RamonSuarez - 11/7/2014, 12:18 AM
This film messed so much with the storyline trying to make Mystique extra relevant. And they were 100 percent correct about the continuity issues - especially the fact that Sentinels were created in 1973 yet were never mentioned once or used at all in the first 3 X-Men films.

People seriously need to grow a sense of humor. I saw CinemaSins for movies I liked alot like Captain America: The Winter Soldier and thought it made some good points. Sure, its nitpicky with all kinds of quibbles that would make it impossible to finish any film. But that's the whole point of the enterprise.

That highjacking the Sentinels plot was very Vanko/Iron Man 2.

Imagine the butthurt when the Gotg one comes out.

Yeet!

And how does the serum that controls Beast's mutation affect Xavier's severed spine?

That's not exactly solid anatomical/genetic logic there.

"Imagine the butthurt when the Gotg one comes out."

GOTG has tons of plot and character holes too.

Of course people will just say "Its a space fantasy and you're taking it too seriously..."

As if basic logic shouldn't apply to a space fantasy either.

The dude also makes a good point about Magneto's imprisonment and escape.

Its been done in 2 of 5 the X-Men films he's been a part of (X-2 and DOFP) and no one explains how he was broken out of prison before X-Men 1 if Mystique wasn't on his side then.

Quicksilver was a convenient plot device more than a fully fleshed character.

He comes in and is used for his powers to get the heroes past an obstacle and then disappears for no legitimate reason when his powers could have been of special use.

They also overpowered him. He seems to have time bending powers more than superspeed.

I really enjoyed DOFP. I wasn't it expecting it to be as emotional as it was.

I bet these Cinema Sins guys flunked out of film school, so they spend their free time "sticking it to Hollywood" by making this vidoes...

If these were 5 minute videos, I wouldn't have as much of a problem. But watching a 16 minute video just to hear them complain about a movie? I'll pass.

RamonSuarez - 11/7/2014, 12:46 AM
Future Sentinels = ripoff Destroyers.

The plane scene was the best part of the movie.

" live a little"

Agreed.
RamonSuarez
RamonSuarez - 11/7/2014, 12:51 AM
And the time loop paradox in DOFP also doesn't make sense. That might be this guy's best point. If events happened in 1973 that changed the future everything that happened AFTER Wolverine was sent back in time wouldn't have happened at all. So then why show the Sentinels slaughtering the last X-Men? It never happened...
