The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods in X-Men: Days of Future Past. The beloved characters from the original X-Men film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from X-Men: First Class, in an epic battle that must change the past to save our future.

X-Men: Days of Future Past's huge all-star cast includes Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Jennifer Lawrence, Daniel Cudmore, Nicholas Hoult, Peter Dinklage, Halle Berry, Adan Canto, Anna Paquin, Evan Peters and Ellen Page, and the "inbetweenquel" went on sale digitally and on DVD and Blu-ray last year. The "Rogue Cut" of the movie is set to hit all of those formats on July 14th.

it won't probably change my final rating for the movie. Still Rogue is one of my favourites character in whole X-Men movie saga so i'm curious to say at least (even if her character differs from comic)

How much longer is the Rogue Cut ???

I really liked the film the first time I saw it but it really doesn't hold up all that well on repeat viewings. Some real cringe-worthy moments and Wolvie constantly referencing the future over and over got repetitive. And why was Quicksilver even in this film? Very lazy writing to include a mutant more powerful than everyone else and not even come up with a logical explanation to write the character out of the 2nd half of the film. Film takes a nose dive once QS is so poorly written off and forgotten about. Some cool action scenes in the future but everything is else is just so blah. Still looking forward to Apocalypse and I'm hoping were launching into a much more cohesive and comic book-y X-Men universe moving forward.

@Jeight

probably yes. Still, i guess Singer needed more time to make Rogue cut work in terms of narration and the date of XM:DoFP BlueRa/DVD was already established by Fox.
Fans also demended Rogue in the movie.

I really like how extended cuts have become an X-Men staple over at FOX.

Rogue is an awesome character in the comid.
I heard she had an action scene but we'll find out.

Hope she returns for the Gambit movie, she has too.!

I'd really like to see Rogue be the love interest in the solo Gambit film! I feel like the only way this could happen is if they continue from where they left off the (future) X-Men in DOFP since thats the time line where Rogue exists, and just take it from there.

@CherryBomb

Do you think they'll recast Rogue?

She doesn't do any action in the movie,

She has to be rescued by Mags and Iceman, you briefly could see her being helped along a corridor in the trailer.

People still talking about QS being taken out of the film. What would had been his purpose of standing? They only needed him for the Pentagon break in. He wasnt necessary for goin after Mystique

Brilliant movie. Second best comic book movie of 2014, the best being Captain America: The Winter Soldier. However, I don't see why a director's cut is necessary. The film was fine like it was.

I thought The Wolverine was a far better film than any other X-Men film. But that's just me. DoFP was okay.

But I wish that boy raper Bryan Singer were not let within fifty miles of an X-Men film being discussed. God-damned NAMBLA pervert. May his soul roast in Hell.

the year was 1995. a young bropous and @mercwitham0uth wait patiently outside the home of about to be famous director 'Bryan singer' waiting eagerly, praying to be chosen and invited in.

no invite was ever provided... sadly decades of hate follow and that rage is what you see today.
