See this is why I can't take this shit seriously. The first really good looking serious X-Men film since X-Men 2 and this is what they do for promotion?

Henry Cavill starred in a Jack in the Box commercial and I still took Man of Steel serious. lol

Spider-Man has been in McDonald's Happy Meal commercials and has also been moon walking with little kids and yet I was still able to take his performance seriously in TASM2. lol

It's not like they have Magneto drinking a Slurpee and eating sour patch kids or a Sentinel break dancing doing the running man?! lol

It's just a character eating a sandwich for promotion??

I actually understand where you're coming from because of your hatred of (possible) animal abuse just for people to get tasty meals like that. So I can relate bro. I can still remember breaking down in the grocery store crying after I saw Pig's Feet in the meats aisle. I've been thinking about just eating chicken and fish once I get out on my own. I've seen some crazy vids of how they treat animals and it's just not humane or right in anyway.

I know we are not meant to take the commercials seriously... but... why? This just seems to lower the characters... its not just X-Men but whenever a Superhero shows up in a commercial it just seems like they are lowering their standards.

Only exception to this is Samuel L Jackson because he's kind of a bad-ass whatever he does... but still it just makes them seem weaker to me. It just makes the characters seem like a joke.

Anywho... case of the shrinking burger syndrome again at 00:18

These promotional stunts are becoming ridiculous, I doubt they're pulling in any new viewers.

@ShadowPimp723: your anecdote is irrelevant as all anecdotes are. I spent 2 years working with a guy who drank a pint of vodka every single day and never got drunk or sick. I guess alcohol isn't bad for you then? We should let kids drink it, just like they eat candy. What's the harm? Right?

Some people tell me there's nothing wrong with smoking cigarettes. Some people tell me there's nothing wrong with doing drugs. Some people tell me there's nothing wrong with adultery. Funny how all these people are actively involved in the activity they don't find anything wrong with.

I saw the Mystique ad on tv a few days ago, and it's just cringe worthy. I wouldn't go so far as to suggest that it demeans the characters if it is done right (I actually liked the MoS one), but these just seem lazy. It's just the characters, in front of a blank wall, showing off their abilities while eating a burger.

Hey, Fox, why don't you go to the Selling-Out-Store to buy more Sell-Out-Juice?

Oh, sorry. You can't. They're all sold out!

@Dethpillow: Did you skip your medication again? Ugh.

Anyway, It's great to see Colossus finally getting some attention. He wasn't anything more than a glorified extra before. Awesome.

The movie "Super Size Me" forever ruined my appetite for fast-food. Cant eat any of that stuff after seeing that. Cool commercial though.

A fictional character that eats a FICTIONAL burger that looks like that? I see others buy the x-tra bacon thickburger and it does not look like what they are advertising. That hamburger you see in the commercial is not real. It looks like a prop compared to what I see people order. Oh well, to each his own.
