The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods in X-Men: Days of Future Past. The beloved characters from the original X-Men film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from X-Men: First Class, in an epic battle that must change the past to save our future.





X-Men: Days of Future Past's huge all-star cast includes Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Jennifer Lawrence, Daniel Cudmore, Nicholas Hoult, Peter Dinklage, Halle Berry, Adan Canto, Anna Paquin, Evan Peters and Ellen Page, and is set to be released on May 23rd, 2014.

Lawrence is pretty good as a younger Mystique, but Romijn just nailed the evilness of the character much better.

^^Uhhh, that's the point. These are the YOUNGER sides of the characters. We're suppose to see them evolve into the ones in the original trilogy, not start off as them. So she's not exactly evil just yet.

Makes me wonder if they'll ever bring Romijn back, or just keep Lawrence because of her star appeal. And also, where did you find the avatar for the article? Really cool poster.

I hope they'll stop making her shift between Raven and Mystique for the sake of (the audience) recognising Lawrence. Same with Beast/Hoult. Kinda makes what happened at the end of First Class irrelevant. I'm sure it'll be addressed regardless, but still.

Can't wait. 1 week. I actually prefer anticipating this over seeing Godzilla :P

It's funny to me, it seems like the movie that's less likely to be great will actually surpass the others expected. Don't know how this'll match up with Winter Soldier, though.

I've heard a lot of people say that the only reason Mystique has a big role is because of Jen's star power.
But back when she was cast for First Class she was a relatively unknown actress, she filmed it in 2010 before she blew up, before Hunger Games, before her Oscar win and her first nomination and yet Mystique still had a big role in FC.

She's a really talented actress and even from the trailers and clips she's starting to become more snake-like in her moves and looks which is what gripped me about Romijn. I loved how she mentioned Rebecca at the premiere last night!
