"It’s been a crazy day," the actress said when asked about her experiences currently filming X-Men: First Class. "But that’s awesome and wonderful in itself."

When quizzed further about what it's been like to work on the movie, she said: "I kind of can’t believe it still. Matthew Vaughn’s directing and he’s incredibly talented, and the cast is incredible. They’ve all become my new little family away from home. It’s definitely a fantastic experience."

"It’s a prequel," Kravitz said when pressed for details on the movie. "It’s set in the ’60s and it’s everyone when they were younger...it’s not the same mutants. It’s definitely its own interpretation of the comics."

"I’m trying hard not to think about the pressure very much. I’m here and kind of just like hanging out with this awesome new group of friends, and I think that I forget that it’s such a big deal."

And is she a fan of the comic books? "I’m a drama geek, not a comic geek."

Good find Josh!
I don't know anything about the character she's playing, but she comes from a good gene pool, hopefully she's talented as well. She's a little cutie too, that helps ;)

Kinda looking forward to seeing how this movie plays out. The 60's vibe has gotten me interested.

I know you've been really busy, but, did you get my email last week Josh?

Cheers!

DCMF: Lol, thanks man and good point! I still find it hard to care about this movie regardless of the numerous hotties it has in it!

Eviltwin: The 60's vibe would have me interested if they had actually used a decent cast of characters. Angel Salvadore is really scraping the barrel when it comes to the X-Men. Not even Grant Morrison could make her anything more than a waste of space during his mostly poor run on New X-Men. Will double check my inbox for that message!

LEE: Well said bud! :)

MarsAmbassador: I completely agree. Without Matthew Vaughn as director, I wouldnt even bother reading/posting news about this movie.

I'd be so excited if this was the REAL First Class!!!

For me, this new X-Men movie is nothing more than a curiosity at best.

If you didn't get my email, let me know, and I'll resend :) Thanks bud.

"It's own interpretation of the comics" just means don't be surprised when they fail at trying to reinvent a story that does not need it! All they will use are the names from the comics, everything else will be "loosely" based like the last 2 horrible X-movies!

Every time I read the word "interpretation" it is a slap in the face of Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. The X-Men have been around since the 60's and "Hollywood Artists" like Brian Singer think they can put their own "interpretation" on something that has been in existence longer than they have been? Just like Superman needed his type of "interpretation"? That worked out well. Don't do us any favors. Here is an idea! Take a comic book and read it! Then put that on screen! Wow!

Yeah, the X-men movies pretty much ruined the franchise for me. They progressively became more lame and topped it off with Wolverine. This is the extra layer of icing on that fruit cake...

Where's my metal gear movie?!

I have learned my lesson with FOX and the X-Men Franchise. This movie is going straight to my bootleg list. I gave Wolverine a chance and the best part of the movie was the trailer.
