Jamie Blackley Dropped From 300: BATTLE OF ARTEMISIA

Jamie Blackley Dropped From 300: BATTLE OF ARTEMISIA

Or whatever they are calling it these days. HeyUguys report that one of the co-leads has been dropped from Noam Murro's follow up to Zack Snyder's 300..

It was reported back in February that British actor Jamie Blackley would play Callisto - apparently one of the lead roles - in the follow up to 300. But now HeyUguys report..

“Blackley, who was cast as a co-lead in the film has now been dropped from the production altogether in favour of their original choice for the role.”

No idea who that original choice might be, but Warner Bros./Legendary will most likely follow this news up with something official soon. The character of Callisto is described as "a teen whose desire to become the heroic man/soldier his father was leads the 16-year-old to become a leader of a small band of soldiers".. Blackley will appear next in Snow White And The Huntsman

300: Battle For Artemisia is set for release August, 2013 and (still) stars Eva Green and Rodrigo Santoro.

This film is not going to be good if they don't have the same team as the first one. I'm not convinced about this film.

Leave 300 alone. This sequel is gonna end up like Immortals.

Death is not happy.

@Godzillafart_ you don't know what the hell you're talking about. 300 had a good story, great fighting scenes, great CGI. It jumped started Zack Snyders career. Michael fassbender and Gerard Butler were awesome in that movie. The soundtrack was epic. It was the manliest movie ever. You had people yelling out "For Sparta" in the movie theater It's part of pop culture now. So go watch the Twilight movies cause I bet you like those.
