"['300' co-writer Kurt Johnstadt] and I have finished the script," Snyder told MTV News on the red carpet of the Sucker Punch premiere this week. "We have a script and... it would be cool to make it."

However, when he was quizzed about his busy schedule and whether this might mean having to hand the movie off to another director, he responded: "We'll see. If I have time."

As for whether we might see Superman runner-up, Joe Manganiello land a role in Xerxes, he revealed that he would in fact be interested in making such a thing happen! "That would be awesome, huh? I'm serious!"

"He's a little busy. He has a day job... but if we can pry him away, maybe..."

who asked for xerxes anyway?

This is so counter-productive. What's the point of making a whole movie about this dude? He did his part in 300. Like Sigma said; who asked for this? It's like the Clevland show. Who wanted that? No one brought up Quagmire? The hell is going on around here. Xerxes? Really?

@NEO- seriously! i frickin hate the clevland show! like wth was the point to give him his own show. he was fine as a side character on family guy but we dont need or want a show all about him. and wat bugged me the most is clevland jr became fat and they never explained how or why. OFF TOPIC I KNOW XD

NeoBaggins - 3/24/2011, 11:40 PM
Not only is Clevland Jr fat for no reason, but he isn't even a fat version of the Clevland Jr shown in episodes of Family Guy. It's a totally different character. They just wanted to make archetypes of the Family Guy characters. Like how they split up Stewie's character in two with the Alien and the Fish on American Dad (which is a way better show than Clevland). That fat ass Clev Jr is Chris Griffin with a touch of Meg. Then there's the black Stewie. I mean, wow. Animation takes forever to do and a new show is an enormous undertaking. Why such a fail idea? Hows the ratings? I dont even know when and where it's on. But I'm sure it will find a home on adult swim one day.

i know! clev jr was funny on family guy when he was all hyper and ADD. i mean even a little explanation would have been enough. like "oh he's taking medication for his ADD and being fat is a side effect" or some bullshit like that. they at least had the decency to mention joe's son kevin being killed in iraq. although that was pretty messed up. and yea it will def end up on adult swim some day.

They could have used the time, money and resources on more episodes of Family Guy.

Also, WHO WANTED TO SEE CARS2 BEFORE an INCREDIBLES SEQUEL???
