After hosting its world premiere at SXSW in March, Atomic Blonde is shaping up to be one of this summer's most pleasant surprises. The David Leitch-directed actioner will put Academy Award-winner Charlize Theron (The Fate of the Furious) in the shoes of Agent Lorraine Broughton, a woman that has a shoot first, ask questions later kind of personality. James McAvoy (X-Men: Dark Phoenix), John Goodman (Kong: Skull Island), Sofia Boutella (The Mummy) co-star.

The crown jewel of Her Majesty’s Secret Intelligence Service, Agent Lorraine Broughton (Theron) is equal parts spycraft, sensuality and savagery, willing to deploy any of her skills to stay alive on her impossible mission. this movie does look good. but dang it when is she going to sign up to be a superhero...preferably on Marvel Side or at least I think she would fit better in the Marvel cinematic world.

I got to see last night at an advanced screening, thanks to my work.

Amazing movie. No spoilers here, but I will say you never hear George Micheal the same way after seeing this film.

One of the best experiences I've ever had in the cinema.

The director of this is also doing Deadpool 2, and after seeing Atomic Blonde,
DP2 cannot get here fast enough. We are in such good hands.

@Asturgis - I do like SALT, it's been a minute since I've seen it, but I I put Atomic Blonde neck and neck with John Wick. It's right up there. Go see it, it is worth all of your money. There is a specific scene that comes straight out of the Raid/Daredevil hallway fights.
She leaves her character Furiosa (which I love) from Mad Max in the dust. 110%
