Universal Pictures has released the official Big Game spot for F9, the ninth chapter in Vin Diesel's long-running Fast & Furious franchise, featuring a few small bits of fresh footage - although the majority of it seems to be recycled from the action-packed theatrical trailer.

The film will see the whole family - Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Jordana Brewster and Nathalie Emmanuel - reunite, as well as someone fans never thought they'd see again: Sung Kang, who returns to serve some justice in this adrenaline-fueled world.

This time, the Fast gang will find themselves up against a pair of formidable foes in Charlize Theron's Cipher and John Cena, who is playing Dom's long-lost brother.

After the middling The Fate of the Furious, the family's back together for F9 as Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Jordana Brewster and Nathalie Emmanuel all reprise their roles from previous installments in the franchise.

Unfortunately, Brian O'Conner is no longer with us, but it seems highly likely the film will still find a way to honor the iconic character played by the late Paul Walker.

Vin Diesel is back as Dominic Toretto and when the film picks up, the former outlaw will have settled down with his wife Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) and son Brian.

However, things will undoubtedly take a turn for the worst, bringing Toretto right back into the thick of the action.

Michelle Rodriguez returns as Letty Ortiz, who has now settled into her new life as a step mother to Brian. However, while everything may be quiet for now, she's about to get a rude awakening when a new threat reassembles the Fast family.

Tyrese Gibson reprises his fan-favorite role as Roman Pearce, who was first introduced in the expertly titled 2 Fast 2 Furious. Not much is yet known about what he's been up to, but it surely involved a lot of fun.

Ludacris is also back as technical wizard and former mechanic Tej Parker, one of Dom's most trusted allies. He also struck up a relationship with Ramsey (Nathalie Emmanuel) in the previous film, so expect that to continue when the story picks up this May.

After sitting out the last film, Jordana Brewster returns as Mia Toretto, Dom's younger sister and wife to the legendary Brian O'Conner, who was played by Paul Walker until his untimely passing in 2013.

It's unclear what brings her back into action, but it must be of utmost importance as she also has a family back home to take care of.

Hot off the final season of Game of Thrones, Nathalie Emmanuel is back as the British computer hacktivist Ramsey, who now finds herself with a loyal group of friends and family.

For some reason, there's no one pictured in this last character poster, although that's a sweet blue Mustang.

Get ready, the ninth chapter in The Fast Saga is coming this Memorial Day.

Summer 2020 is the time for F9, the ninth chapter in The Fast Saga that has endured for almost two decades and has earned more than $5 billion around the world. Vin Diesel's Dom is one of those people that speaks so slowly that when you're talking to them you want to finish their sentences for them to hurry them up LOL!

Between the color coded posters and the ridiculous car action I'm wondering if this is a low-key Power Rangers Turbo gritty reboot. By F10 these madlads will find a way to combine the cars into a giant robot.

@Spidey91 - Spoiler alert! In the climatic battle for this movie their cars will combine to form a Megazord!

This was much more tolerable than the full trailer lol. Not the biggest fan of these movies, but I'll watch it. Thank god for AMC A-list.

I really have to respect this series in one front: there's no other franchise out there with this raw sheer attitude of just not giving a f*ck and doing whatever crazy sh*t they can come up with.

@Spidey91 - Transformers?

@JohnMarston220 - ehh, I wouldn't say Transformers. I mean, they certainly didn't give a f*ck, but it was ultimately repetitive and tired and not fun.

@MuadDib - it’ll either be his twin brother that NOBODY but Dom knew about... who also can drive a car like a veteran stunt driver. Or he’ll have been not killed in that car crash and has been secretly recovering... and only Dom knew.

@MuadDib - I love how the actor's wikipedia page actually says "He is best known for his role as Han Lue ,an immortal being in The Fast and the Furious film franchise."

This movie looks like dumb, senseless, pathetic over the top lunacy on a level that defies logic and reasoning... and I can't wait to see it!

So considering how ridiculous this series has gotten, I will hazard a guess that Han is either a clone, a secret twin brother, magic, or he faked his death because this series basically operates under soap opera rules now.

@santoanderson - the way these guys went from weekend street racers to top level government operatives, I’m going to go with magic.

The only way I can explain Han being alive...Watch it be some experimental test subjects that were chosen near death to see if the same superhuman program from Hobbs and Shaw would work. The same one from Hobbs and Shaw used on Idris Elba's character. Let's say Han was one of many people chosen to be experimented on after his near-death. Or a long lost twin brother lol. Or someone pulled him out of that car in Tokyo Drift!
