The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Fox are bringing BOOM! Studios' Unthinkable to life as a TV series. 24 showrunner and Homeland producer Howard Gordon will pen the series, while Drive's Ben Queen will executive produce. Unthinkable - which was written by Mark Sable and pencilled by Julian Totino Tedesco - ud described as follows: "They’ve been hired to think the UNTHINKABLE. But what happens when the unthinkable actually happens? After 9-11, best-selling author Alan Ripley joins a government think tank consisting of the most imaginative minds in diverse fields. Their job? Think of nightmare scenarios and crippling terrorist attacks so the government can safeguard against them. But what happens when the think tank folds, and the attacks start to happen?" In 2009, the comic book series was picked up by Mandalay Pictures for a big screen adaptation, but that ultimately didn't work out. There's no word on casting or a possible air date as of yet, so stay tuned to CBM for further details. The most recent BOOM! Studios adaptation 2 Guns earned $70 million at the box office this summer.

I know I'm only flooding the internet with more useless info, but this is one of the only Graphic Novels I regret purchasing. Left it in my brother's bathroom so he couldn't force me to take it back.
