Hot on the heels of Wrath of Man, director Guy Ritchie is reteaming with Jason Statham for another killer actioner - formerly known as Five Eyes - which has now received a very Ritchie-esque official title: Operation Fortune: Ruse de guerre.

In addition to Statham (Hobbs & ShawFurious 7), the cast will feature Aubrey Plaza (Parks and Recreation; Legion), Josh Hartnett (Wrath of Man; Most Wanted), Cary Elwes (Mission: Impossible 7The Princess Bride), Bugzy Malone (The Gentlemen), and Hugh Grant (The GentlemenThe Man from U.N.C.L.E.) in key roles.

Ritchie (Sherlock Holmes; Aladdin) also co-wrote the screenplay with Ivan Atkinson and Marn Davis, who also contributed to The Gentlemen and Wrath of Man.

The official synopsis reads, "In the film, super spy Orson Fortune (Jason Statham) must track down and stop the sale of a deadly new weapons technology wielded by billionaire arms broker Greg Simmonds (Hugh Grant). Reluctantly teamed with some of the world’s best operatives (Aubrey Plaza, Cary Elwes, Bugzy Malone), Fortune and his crew recruit Hollywood’s biggest movie star Danny Francesco (Josh Hartnett) to help them on their globe-trotting undercover mission to save the world."

Operation Fortune: Ruse de guerre is due out in theaters January 21.

Ritchie gets the best performances out of Statham, so happy they're back working together. And I'm thrilled to see Aubrey Plaza and Cary Elwes land big roles like this.

Also, as someone who was NOT a fan of Josh Hartnetts work when he was younger, I've quite enjoyed his work in the past decade or so. I support seeing more of him in upcoming stuff!

The synopsis made me think they just wanted to make a Mission Impossible film and needed to think of a different title for it.
