Inara, The Jungle Girl is Red Valkyrie Studios first foray into the world of feature films. Red Valkyrie Studios is an independent company that put the film together with an almost non-existent budget, espescially when compared to the budges most hollywood films have to work with.
Inara, The Jungle Girl was shot using RED Digital Cinema technology and inspired by comic book and film classics such as Lorna, The Jungle Girl, Luana: Karzan, Jungle Lord and Shandra: The Jungle Girl.
The film follows Inara, a young girl who's world changes after her father passes away during a military mission to the remote island of N'iah. Inara takes an opportunity to travel to the mysterious island with a band of mercs and learns that the jungle inhabited by women.
"The cast was totally into character and they were all excited by the return to the cult classic women in the jungle storyline." - Director Patrick Desmarattes
The film clocks in at just over an hour. Some of the scenes are drawn out, and the audio isn't as clear as it could be at times, but the film has potential.
Did I forget to mention that there are LOTS of scantily clad amazonian women?
