Daddy Indy gives son Indy a verbal spanking!

Last year Shia LaBeouf was stated as saying they "dropped the ball" when making the fourth installment of Indiana Jones. Well Harrison Ford finally has a reply to these statements saying "I think I told him he was a f***ing idiot....As an actor, I think it’s my obligation to support the film without making a complete ass of myself. Shia is ambitious, attentive, and talented - and he's learning how to deal with a situation which is very unique and difficult."

Personally I was happy someone was honest about how bad that movie was but that is just my opinion, what do you think about these statements? You know where to lay down your opinions!

Brash@ Couldnt agree more! The fourth episode was epic failure!
The Dark Horse comics has hundred times better Indy stories than what the movie had!

I wouldn't do a job if I didn't believe it. I know he didn't edit, score or create the movie but he read the script and knew what the score was.

Honesty yes. Distancing yourself to look like you are void of any fault, no.

Alex@ Yeah, I love Indy but I was so freakin disappointed by that movie.

Craptain@ I do like his honesty, and I don't think he was distancing himself to be void of any fault. I just think he saw the final cut and didn't like it. Can't fault him for that.

I agree the movie sucked I wanted my money back!!! Harrison Ford has a point, you have to have some class and tact as an actor when the whole world is listening.

if they do a 5th leave the Mutt at home. he was a major problem with the last one, that and the fact that there were [frick]ing aliens in an Indiana Jones movie!

if they must have an annoying sidekick, bring back Short Round, he was more tolerable than Shia.

I'm pretty sure they're both speaking the truth...

I enjoyed KOTCS more than TOD, it was just nice seeing that brown fedora on Harrisons head again.

But he's right, as an actor and as a part of the cast, its Shia's responsibility to support the film. I mean how many actors do you know that actually say their true opinions on their films? Not many.

I dont mind Shia as an actor but hes gotta smarten up

well, whether the movie sucked or not, just like Ford said, you gotta support the film you worked on, especially if you're one of the leads. and yeah..he must've read the script, so, he should've known what'll be in store for him.

and it's kinda ironic to hearing this from the kid whose BIGGEST cinematic triumph comes from playing second fiddle to giant robots...and Megan Fox.

Also ironic, considering that...to me, Shia was the biggest problem with Indy 4. He didn't belong in the movie, he can't hold his own with Harrison Ford. And the scenes with him and the monkeys and with him picking up the fedora were complete blasphemy.
