Earlier this week, it was revealed that director Jack Bender has decided to drop out of Jack Ryan, a Tom Clancy creation who has previously been played by Alec Baldwin (The Hunt for Red October), Harrison Ford (Patriot Games/Clear and Present Danger) and Ben Affleck (The Sum of All Fears). However, the film is still going ahead with a tentative release date set for either 2013 or 2014. THOR director Kenneth Branagh is now in talks to helm the project which will still include Star Trek's Chris Pine as the CIA analyst. Paramount are reportedly planning to start production this September and have hired Spider-Man screenwriter David Koepp to rewrite the script.

The better question is do we need more Percy Jackson movies?

I agree. A Splinter Cell movie would be better. But the question is: Who would play a good Sam Fisher?

Tbh I wanna see Pine play pretty much ANY white Marvel studios character other than Dr strange. I could see him as ant man ( a little young I know) and I wish Marvel would get the rights back to daredevIl and FF because I could see him as Matt Murdock and Johnny Storm

I think Eric Dane could be interesting Sam Fisher. He kinda looks like Sam plus isnt too old for the action scenes.

Little bit make up effects and they can make him look little bit older than he really is.

I didn't even bother with The Sum of All Fears. Ben Affleck playing Jack Ryan just didn't sit right with me.

This movie seems like it could turn out great.

A Splinter Cell movie is overdue. I don't know who would make a good Sam Fisher. Michael Ironside has to have a cameo though.

"I have a good feeling about this guy" or "There is a lot of strength in your voice. You remind me of a lot of myself." I think that would be nice shout out to the fans. :)
